If you enjoy having a a cocktail every now and then, keep your money out of the casino if you set out to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your evening bag, your billfold, and leave all cash, charge cards and cheques back at the hotel. Only take whatever cash you expect to use on alcohol, tips and few dollars you expect to burn and keep the rest behind.
Pessimistic? Not at all. Realistic more like. You can have a success following a intoxicated night out with your buddies and be blessed enough to hook a long toss at a hot craps game. Keep that story seeing that it is as short-lived as it gets if you consistently drink and bet. These activities just do not mix.
Leaving your moolah back at the hotel is a bit dramatic, but defensive actions for excessive actions is compulsory. If you gamble to succeed, then do not drink and play. If you can afford to be wasteful with your $$$$ nary a concern, then consume all the gratuitous beer your stomach can handle, but do not pack plastic credit and cheques to toss into the mix of going after squanderings after your bombed self squanders everything!
Let me to take this a single step further. do not drink and then jump on to the internet to bet in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the coziness of my domicile, however since I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards at my fingertips, I can’t consume alcohol and bet.
Why? Even though I don’t drink a lot, when I drink alcohol, it is certainly adequate to befuddle my common sense. I gamble, so I do not drink when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, don’t wager when you do. Both make for a decimating, and costly, cocktail.
